We will open Aspen Mountain and Snowmass for the winter season on November 28, 2024.

Operating dates for the 2024-2025 winter ski season are as follows:
- Aspen Mountain: November 28, 2024 - April 20, 2025
- Snowmass: November 28, 2024 - April 20, 2025
- Aspen Highlands: December 14, 2024 - April 13, 2025
- Buttermilk: December 14, 2024 – April 6, 2025

The full price of the pass is due at the time of purchase. All passes are 100% refundable through August 30, 2024.

2024-2025 season passes are fully refundable through August 30, 2024. After that date, Travel Guard’s Multi-Event insurance plan can help cover your investment if you need to cancel your season pass for covered reasons prior to the beginning of the ski season or if other covered unforeseen circumstances arise during the ski season. Premier Pass benefits including friends and family vouchers will be available in the Aspen Snowmass App in the fall so passholders can bypass the ticket office and redeem online. Premier passholders will receive email notification when vouchers are available in the app, including instructions on how to transfer and redeem them. Other discounts such as those at Four Mountain Sports and Food & Beverage will continue to be pass-based and presenting your Aspen Card on premise, at the time of purchase, will be required.

2024-2025 Senior, Adult, and Premier Chamber Pass holders will receive a complimentary Ikon Base Pass.

For the 2024-2025 winter season, lift reservations will be required for Ikon Passholders. For a comprehensive list of resorts that require reservations and additional information, visit ikonpass.com. Reservations can be made in MyAccount on ikonpass.com once your Ikon Base Pass has been issued. Please note, complimentary Ikon Base Passes do not provide access to Aspen Snowmass or Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.

2024-2025 Silver, Senior, Adult, College, Teen, and Child Premier Passes come with unlimited Summer 2025 sightseeing access on both the Silver Queen Gondola in Aspen and the Elk Camp Gondola on Snowmass.

Alpine 1-Day Pass allows 1-day usage per week, Monday through Sunday. Alpine 2-Day Pass allows 2-day usage per week, Monday through Sunday.

The Alpine Pass 1-Day and 2-Day have no blackout dates and the week begins on Monday and ends on Sunday.

Yes, you may purchase additional days at 50% off the one day, in-resort lift ticket. Extension days can be purchased online by the Passholder by navigating to shop.aspensnowmass.com and logging into your account.

The Valley Pass offers 7 days of skiing and riding with no blackout dates. The Valley Pass was designed specifically with residents of the Roaring Fork Valley in mind. To purchase, you must have a Colorado Driver’s License or state issued ID that has an address within the Roaring Fork River Drainage area situated in Eagle, Pitkin, Garfield, or Gunnison Counties, or within the Colorado River Drainage area from and including the unincorporated No Name area to and including Rifle, and including the towns of Aspen, Basalt, Carbondale, El Jebel, Glenwood Springs, Marble, Meredith, New Castle, No Name, Redstone, Rifle, Snowmass, Snowmass Village, Woody Creek.

There are no blackout dates on the Valley Pass. Passholders can spread their winter season out however they see fit.

Yes. The Valley Pass can be purchased in person for non-Roaring Fork Valley residents at the Aspen Ticket Office the week of October 21-27, 2024, only. During this week, no address verification will be required. Non-Roaring Fork Valley residents that had a Valley Pass last season, must purchase a new 2024-2025 Valley Pass during our in-person sale; they won’t be able to renew their 2023-2024 Valley Pass online or over the phone.

Yes, the 2 or 3-days that come with your Mountain Collective pass will require reservations to ski and ride during the 2024-2025 ski season. Reservations will be available starting late fall. Any additional days purchased at 50% off the one day, in-resort lift ticket above and beyond the days included with your Mountain Collective will not require reservations.

The purpose of this pass program is to enhance the guest experience for all through increased safety education, greater and more comprehensive communication to the uphill community and reduce friction between downhill and uphill guests on the mountain. Our efforts seek to proactively prevent injuries and address issues regarding the uphiller volume, routes and impacts to grooming.

There is a fee of $69 for an uphill pass of which $10 will be donated to Mountain Rescue Aspen. This pass is valid for one day or the entire season of uphill access. All Premier Pass products include the uphill pass at no additional cost, but passholders will need to opt-in to receive their Uphill Pass.

A picture and signed waiver will be required to uphill for the 2024-2025 winter season. A pass is required for all uphill activities (skiing, split boarding, snowshoeing, walking, etc.). The same pass is required for both a single day and the entire season.

All Uphill Passholders must wear our orange uphill strap with your Aspen Card while on mountain. If you are a new Uphill Passholder, please visit any ticket office for your uphill strap and pass. If you have an uphill strap from a previous season, please pick up your current 2024-2025 sticker at any ticket office starting this fall.

We have seen a large uptick in the volume of uphill traffic and use of our slopes in the past few years so it is time to pay attention to managing the process for all guests. There are inherent costs involved in this, including signage, ski patrol workload, route maintenance, as well as impacts on parking and facilities. A structured uphill program with pass will provides a means to educate all guests to rules, communicate closures when they occur, inform conditions, routes, terrain management, special programs and events.

Aspen Skiing Company holds a Special Use Permit to operate our four mountains on a mix of public and private land. We have been working in conjunction with the Forest Service to better manage uphill access.

The program runs from November 1, 2024 through April 30, 2025. In the pre-season there will be heavy traffic on the slopes with snowmaking and mountain preparations underway. Please download and check the Aspen Snowmass App for the most up to date route and closure information.

Uphilling is permitted from 5:00am to 10:30pm throughout the winter season (November 1 through April 30). No uphill permitted outside of these hours.

An uphill strap with a sleeve for your Aspen Card is required while uphilling. The strap with your pass is the first verification and can be acquired at a ticket office after your waiver has been signed and your photo taken. The Aspen Card page of the Aspen Snowmass App will display an indicator if you have valid Uphill access.

There are no pre-scheduled closures for the 2024-2025 season. There may be closures due to early season snowmaking and mountain preparation, avalanche threat and control work, crowding, events or other issues that will be communicated via email, social media, and on the Aspen Snowmass Website and app.

There will be periodic on mountain uphill enforcement sessions as well as on-going Patrol, Guest Services, and Mountain Ops spot checks. Our hope is that people will respect this system and self-regulate their behavior.

Uphilling is permitted on designated routes on all four of our mountains.
